About Us
Our Purpose
Why We Exist
TTI empowers girls and rural communities through education, breaking cycles of poverty with community-led solutions. Our purpose is to create lasting, generational change by strengthening schools, supporting families, and unlocking human potential.
— The FOUNDER
Our Story
It began in rural Zimbabwe, with a girl denied an education but never her dream. A girl who wrote her goals on paper, placed them in a tin can, and buried them beneath the soil of her village.....
What We
Do
Rooted in Zimbabwean wisdom and global solidarity, our work activates transformation across individuals, institutions, communities, and entire systems.
Spotlight Story
Chivakanenyama Secondary School — Growing Classrooms from Gardens
At Chivakanenyama Secondary School, innovation and resilience have taken root through TTI’s sustainable irrigation garden project, growing both crops and opportunity.
Once limited by inadequate infrastructure, the school used income from its gardens to build a new classroom block, marking a major milestone. This progress reflects more than physical development, it shows self-reliance, renewal, and the impact of empowering communities with sustainable systems.
With improved learning spaces and plans for science labs and advanced classes, the school is now on a strong path toward a better future.
Chivakanenyama's story is living proof that sustainable projects don't just feed communities — they build them.
From boreholes to
self-sustaining innovation hubs.
Through boreholes, solar, irrigation, and regenerative business coaching, TTI supports rural schools to become community gathering places and self-sustaining innovation hubs.

— Voices That Matter
“Before TTI, I never thought I could finish school. Now, I dream of becoming an engineer and helping other girls like me. Every scholarship, every mentor, every moment of support has given me courage I didn’t know I had.”

“I was a shy girl who feared speaking up. Today, I opened my textiles designing business where I also mentor young girls and women. TTI taught me that strength is not about being fearless, it’s about rising every time you fall.”
— Batons We've Broken
“For generations, my family thought education was not important. With TTI, that narrative has changed. I am the first girl in my family to attend university. The baton of silence and limitation has been broken, now I will lift others as I rise.”

“Before joining the TTI sewing program, I struggled to provide for my children. Today, sewing has become my strength and my source of income. I can now buy food, pay rent, and send my children to school with dignity. This skill has changed my life — it has given me confidence, independence, and a way to build a better future for my family. I am forever grateful.”
